Slum lord comes to mind. Room is old, smells , TV doesn't work, dirty, maybe they are still using covid as an excuse.... Was mislead on shuttle, had to get ripped off by a Bush cabbie instead.... thats another story watch those guys. Breakfast was in a go bag, not what you are lead to believe. Microwave sandwich, corn chips and Kool aid.... my God!! at least there was a banana.... I did complain and got the standard BS like you see their responses on here ... you will likely only stay here once and ownership could care less. They avoid answering the issues and as the timelines read out on here , have done nothing to address them. They were right though, I won't be back....

This facility is old and very dilapidated. It is not completely clean. The breakfast was very substandard,and the vending machines are nearly empty. The staff was friendly, but very sparse. I can’t believe you had it rated at 3.5 when I booked!

I booked this hotel for a one night stay before an early flight out of Bush Airport. I saw a mix of reviews but we just needed a clean/safe place to crash before our flight. As a rule I am not a very picky person but there were a few things about this property that would have caused me to choose another option had I known them up front. here are the issues that caused me concern: *. At the time I booked our rooms I inquired about the airport shuttle. I was told that when we arrived in Houston the night before our flight we were to call for the shuttle to pick us up and get us to the hotel for our stay. We did as instructed. We were told the shuttle would arrive within 15 minutes. After approximately 10 minutes a shuttle with Comfort Suites clearly listed on the side arrived. As we started to board the shuttle I remembered a previous post that stated they got on the wrong shuttle. Thank goodness I asked for clarification before boarding. As it turns out this was the WRONG shuttle. There was no attempt by the driver to identify which property he was from. We continued to wait fro another 15 minutes (30 minutes total) for a shuttle that was 5 minutes form the airport. The hotel needs to inform their customers about the competing Comfort Suites shuttle or this is going to continue to happen over and over. There is no excuse for not taking steps to remedy this situation. The hotel needs to fix this problem. Plain and simple. I was also told that I needed to sign up for the shuttle for our morning run to the airport to ensure there was enough room. Once again, I did as instructed and signed up for the 7:30am shuttle. As we headed to our room I told the front desk that would would be down for breakfast at 7am and would catch the shuttle at 7:30am. They stated that would be fine. Imagine our surprise when we came down at 7:00am sharp and discovered there was no breakfast. When I asked the front desk for an explanation they apologized and said the desk clerk from the night shift should have informed us that they do not offer breakfast on site and we would need to walk to the hotel next door to get breakfast. One again, no excuse of this. It should be made very clear to all guests upon check in. As we started to hurry next door for breakfast we were told there was not time for breakfasts since the 7am shuttle was preparing to leave. I reminded the front desk that we were signed up for the 7:30am shuttle. She stated they "overbooked" the 7:30am shuttle and if we wanted a ride to the airport we had to leave immediately or pay for our own Uber! Inexcusable! What is the point of signing up for the shuttle if it does no good at all. At this point we had enough and just got on the 7am shuttle and payed for breakfast at the airport. All of these issues were caused by lack of communication and poor customer service and left us vowing to never use this property again. There are several better options just up the road from this property. They may be a few dollars more but do yourself the favor and spend a few more bucks. You will be glad you did.

Where to begin? Both WiFi and cell were down for 25 mins at the airport. Finally got thru to hotel, shuttle is on demand only, dispatched. Shuttle with proper logo and street name arrived, boarded, but oops - it's the shuttle for a competing CS. Got off, hotel called me to their credit, correct shuttle picked me up. Phew. Planned to swim for my spine ,but outdoor pool unheated. No real restaurants nearby and very few subscribe to a delivery service. Hiked to strip mall and found an ok Chinese place. Be prepared most restaurants close by 830pm. Room stank of cigarette smoke even tho it's a nonsmoking hotel. Bulbs burned out in the room making it really dark. Breakfast offered but need to walk to adjacent other hotel ... ok today but no fun in bad weather. It was a place ... but no 3 star hotel, in my book.

Made and prepaid reservation in May, arrived to a hotel that was completely closed for renovations. The sign on the door directs you to the Country Inn hotel next door that is owned by the same owner. Paid for the night (again). Checked my CC bill, they charged me twice what they quoted. Still trying to get my refund after 2 weeks.
